When you buy something out of a vending machine....do you grab your change first, or the item that you have selected.
What does the answer reveal about you?

interesting question, alex.
typically, IF i happen to be wanting something from a vending machince, i tend to use exact change. if exact change is not available, i go up in the next smallest increment.
therefore, to be honest, i grab the product first.
this scenario happens mostly at school (since i am aware that vending machines are everywhere: laundrymats, post offices, etc).
and...usually it is something pertaining to food...and usually it is when i desperately need it.
as i see it, i'd rather have the food than the $0.15 i got in change coming.
(is there some explination for this, alex, or are we to answer that for ourselves?)

It would be good if you self analyze...I promise to put my own two cents worth in after others, including you Shatzy, have responded.

Sometimes I get the product first.
Sometimes the change first.
Sometimes I am in a hurry and leave the change, if it is not alot.
Once or twice I have flipped a coin to see wheither I should get the change or the product first.

Beta-Decay, I detect a note of silliness in your answer, which may affect the bell curve of this study.
Shame on you!....Ok, I take it back...shame is a bad thing.
